Craigo barn is a detached Self-Catering Holiday Cottage situated
in Botany Bay, Tintern, in the wonderful Wye Valley, Monmouthshire.
Quietly nestling in wooded hills less than a mile
from Tintern, with its historic Cistercian Abbey on the beautiful
river Wye, Craigo Barn provides an excellent base for exploring
the Wye Valley, either by foot, bike or car.
An historic stone barn, reputed to have been built
by prisoners awaiting deportation to Australia, Craigo Barn
has been skilfully renovated and converted to now provide a modern,
comfortable and well equipped detached holiday cottage for up

horses, sheep, chickens and a large pond with ducks!), it offers
a tranquil retreat for restful family holidays, regardless of the
season.
The accommodation is double glazed and fully equipped
for all seasons, with gas central heating/domestic hot water, a
log stove, gas cooker/oven, microwave oven, freezer, washing machine,
tumble-dryer, Colour TV, DVD, video, CD-stereo, etc. Upstairs
there are two good-sized bedrooms, one with a double bed, the
other with three singles (not bunk-beds). Downstairs there is
an open-plan kitchen/living-room, separated by a breakfast bar.
The toilet and shower-room is also
down-stairs. Outside has ample parking and a sunny patio and barbecue
area.
Your stay at Craigo Barn will provide the ideal
opportunity to quickly un-wind in a relaxing and friendly environment,
be it for a family holiday, a long weekend or a base for business
trips (Bristol, Newport, Cardiff).
